Teaneck spans roughly six square miles. It’s surrounded by Englewood, Hackensack, Bergenfield, Bogota, and Ridgefield Park, granting easy access to the rest of the county. Between its amazing schools, neighborly atmosphere, and modern amenities, residents of Teaneck rarely want for anything – and if they did, most urban centers are a quick drive away.

  • Teaneck’s main shopping district, Cedar Lane is home to over 170 businesses that include national chains and independently owned shops and restaurants. Some of the most highly recommended spots along Cedar Lane include Cedar Market, Teaneck Cinemas, Amarone Ristorante, and The Cottage Bar.
  • Debonair Music Hall first welcomed guests in 2017, and for over five years, it has brought incredible musical performers to the town of Teaneck. This venue is a must-see for both music fans and foodies (tons of restaurants are just steps away from the door).
  • Parks and recreational centers abound in Teaneck. Lush walkways and riparian views await at the Hackensack River Greenway. At Teaneck Creek Conservancy, guests can explore 1.3 miles of dog-friendly trails and diverse foliage. 

Education

There are several phenomenal schools located in Teaneck, including Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, Teaneck Community Charter School, and Thomas Jefferson Middle School. The Teaneck Public Schools oversees public education in the township.
