Huyler Park is the centerpiece of Downtown Tenafly and venue of the annual summer concert series. The Tenafly Nature Center takes up 380 acres of land comprising cross-country ski trails and hiking paths.
• Kaplen JCC on The Palisades is a community center that strives to provide a home for Tenafly’s extensive Jewish community. It’s home to the renowned Thurnauer School of Music and JCC Dance and Drama Schools.
• Café Angelique is a historic railroad-station-turned-cafe located at an idyllic spot on Piermont Road. Come for the delicious coffee and decadent pastries, and stay for the captivating jazz performances.

Education

The Tenafly Public Schools comprises six schools serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Known institutions are Malcolm S. Mackay Elementary School, Ralph S. Maugham Elementary School, and J. Spencer Smith Elementary School. Private schools include the Academy of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Tenafly Chabad Academy.
